The Lexus ES has pleased drivers and passengers for over 30 years with its quiet interior, driving comfort, and elegant look. The Lexus ES, which debuted in 1989 alongside the LS flagship sedan, is a mainstay in the premium E class, impressing private and corporate clients. Since its introduction, Lexus has sold over 2.75 million units in the series; the model is now available in over 80 countries and regions.

After nearly three decades of success, Lexus launched the ES in Western and Central Europe for the first time in 2018. The highly regarded GA-K platform from the Japanese luxury brand serves as the foundation for the seventh generation of vehicles, allowing designers to push the boundaries of sedan design. For example, the wheels could be pushed farther into the corners because of the larger wheelbase, allowing the front and rear tracks to be expanded. The platform also accounts for the flatter bonnet and the beautiful coupe-like roofline.

The driver and front passenger of the F SPORT versions enjoy the comfort of the LC Coupe-inspired seats. The seats are covered with EcoLuxe, leather, or semi-aniline leather, depending on the equipment line. The natural steering wheel angle, pedal placement, and optional 16-way seat adjustability contribute to a pleasant seating posture, even on extended business journeys. In addition, there is an optional head-up display and a 12.3-inch screen for the Lexus Premium navigation system. The Mark Levinson PurePlay Sound System with 17 loudspeakers provides an impeccable audio experience. At the same time, rear passengers enjoy approximately one meter of legroom on heated seats.

The new Lexus ES 300h also establishes safety norms, with the Lexus Safety System Plus, a high-strength chassis, and ten airbags as standard. As a result, the car got the highest rating of five stars in the 2018 Euro NCAP test results. The Lexus Hybrid Drive fourth-generation powers the ES 300h, also available as a sporty ES 300h F SPORT. This luxury sedan is manufactured in Japan at the award-winning Kyushu facility.

The newest Lexus Safety System Plus and the adaptive high beam assistance with BladeScan technology are among the safety features. In addition, the F SPORT models' improved rear suspension, redesigned brake pedal design, and adaptive variable damper system (AVS) enhance the driving experience.

The Lexus ES's improved design now boasts even more flair and beauty. The new design blends modernism with enhanced functionality. The ES 300h's new radiator grille continues to form the front end distinctively; new L-shaped components and fewer vertical struts emphasize the dynamic appearance. The ES 300h F SPORT's unique black grille stays unaltered. The Lexus ES has new LED headlights on all models. The three-lamp headlights and the adaptive high beam assistance with BladeScan technology are now contained in thin, freshly designed lighting units. While the exterior lens stays the same, the interior design is more expressive and includes additional features.

New sporty 17-inch wheels enhance the ES 300h's sophisticated look with machined features and luxury 18-inch rims with a milled surface and black paint. In addition, the color pallet has been enlarged to include two hues of iridium silver with solid colors and obsidian gray with a metallic high-gloss finish.

The famed Lexus Takumi master craftsmen's attention to detail and talents are visible throughout the interior. Also, new colors for the upholstery and paneling are now available.

Both corporate and private drivers appreciate the Lexus Klimaconcierge. It guarantees proper and comfortable air conditioning in all seats by coordinating air conditioning, seat heating, and steering wheel heating. In addition, a sensor in the new Lexus ES 300h measures the humidity in the interior and the temperature difference between the cabin and the windshield to ensure that the windshield does not fog up. The Klimaconcierge also features an upgraded nanoeTM X system, which aids in inhibiting viruses and germs, reduce smells, and moisturize hair and skin.

The Lexus ES 300h's hybrid powertrain consists of a highly efficient 2.5-liter Atkinson four-cylinder gasoline engine with a light and small electric motor. The system has a power output of 160 kW / 218 hp. The remarkable results of the ES 300h in the famous Ecotest of the ADAC club demonstrate that the self-charging Lexus hybrid drive has significant consumption and environmental qualities, particularly under real-world driving circumstances.

The 2.5-liter petrol engine of the new Lexus ES 300h operates on the Atkinson principle of quicker combustion and is one of the most efficient engines ever developed. Consequently, performance improves without raising consumption or emissions: combined fuel consumption 5.8 - 5.2 l / 100 km, combined CO2 emissions 132 - 119 g / km (WLTP).

Lexus hybrids are often less expensive to maintain than equivalent diesel vehicles. The expenses of maintenance and spare components are also lower: Lexus hybrids do not require the replacement of a clutch, alternator, or timing belt. While regenerative braking saves the brake pads, steady acceleration decreases tire wear. The results in terms of value retention are unrivaled, thanks to the exceptional vehicle quality and the incredible endurance of the Lexus hybrid system. @via Lexus.
