One month before the opening of the EICMA Moto Show in Milan, Triumph presents the first photos with the improved version of the Street Triple RS. The new version benefits from an increase in power by 9% and torque by 9%.
The new Street Triple RS motorcycle is equipped with a 3-cylinder 765 cc engine that meets Euro5 standards. It has a significant increase of the torque by 9% at average speeds, reaching a peak of 79 Nm at 9,350 rpm and the power with the same percentage of 9% at an average speed level, totaling 123 hp at 11,750 rpm. In addition, engine upgrades include a new camshaft optimized for better performance at mid-speed.
The 2020 Street Triple RS variant retains from the previous version the high-assist clutch which reduces the effort on the lever and improves the rider's comfort and control.
The suspensions are of a new design, equipped with an adjustable front arm of the Showa type, with a displacement of 115 mm, and in the rear an Öhlins STX40 shock absorber with a radius of 131 mm.
Street Triple RS keeps from the previous model, the ride-by-wire system, the adjustable ABS and the traction control system that can be deactivated.
The new Street Triple RS comes in two different color combinations: Matt Jet Black and Aluminum Silver with yellow elements or Silver Ice and Diablo Red with silver elements. The price has not yet been stabilized but it will certainly be communicated at the official launch of EICMA in November.
