Opel has published official images of the new Zafira-e Life van converted to a Crosscamp Flex. This vehicle is an electric campervan based on the electric version of the Zafira and promises, among other things, an autonomy of 322 kilometers.
Opel revealed a new electric campervan version for the Zafira-e, the Crosscamp Flex. The new Crosscamp Flex electric campervan is based on the electric version of the Opel Zafira, so it gets the 136 hp electric motor powered by a 75 kWh battery.
With the help of a 100 kW socket, the battery can be charged up to 80% in 48 minutes. The new model also has an auxiliary battery of 95 Ah for the equipment of the new electric campervan.
The Opel Zafira-e Crosscamp Flex electric campervan has front seats that rotate 180 degrees, a fully equipped small kitchen with a stove, a wash basin, cupboards, and drinking and wastewater storage areas. The rear bench seat converts into a two-seater bed, and the retractable roof reveals an additional bed for two more people.
As standard equipment, the new Crosscamp Flex campervan based on Opel Zafira-e comes equipped with assistance systems such as:
- Emergency braking.
- Forward collision warning.
- Driver fatigue detection.
- Lane keeping assistant and a traffic sign recognition system with a semi-cruise control.
The new Opel Zafira-e Crosscamp Flex will enter production in 2023, alongside the diesel version of the Crosscamp.
