The 2019 Ford Focus ST Sportbreak has been unveiled by the American brand. It is the family variant of the sportiest version of the range, until the new RS arrives, of course. A car that can be configured with both a diesel engine and gasoline and that is shown as a tough rival for the Seat Leon ST Cupra by offering large doses of sportiness and space in the same format.

The country for which the main information has been disseminated has been for the United Kingdom, a market in which the family version of this model is called the Ford Focus ST Wagon.

The Ford Focus 2.0-liter EcoBlue 2.0-liter diesel fits only a six-speed manual transmission, while the 280-hp EcoBoost 2.3-liter can also allow a 7-speed automatic transmission with paddles on the steering wheel, derived from the recent 8-speed automatic gearbox of the new Focus. The average consumption, meanwhile, will be around 8 l / 100km.

Depending on the area in question, the new Ford Focus ST Sportbreak or Ford Focus ST Wagon will hit the market starting this summer. But there is still no specific release date. In addition, the price for the United Kingdom has already been announced: from 30,595 euros the diesel and from 33,095 euros the one of gasoline. Via periodismodelmotor.com.
