The Danish small series manufacturer Zenvo adds an electrical module to the transmission of the 1,193 hp TSR-S sports car. Zenvo is giving the street-legal version of its TSR-S sports car.
The central technical change in the TSR-S concerns the transmission: The self-developed sequential seven-speed box is supplemented by a hybrid module. When accelerating, the small electric motor should also boost a bit. In addition, a more sophisticated traction control can be integrated. The new transmission offers the driver the option of switching between a road and a racetrack shift mode on the steering wheel.
Zenvo reduces the weight of the TSR-S by emphasising the use of carbon. Zenvo specifies the dry weight of the TSR-S at less than 1,500 kilograms. The chassis was readjusted and the aerodynamics fine-tuned.
The 5.8-liter V8 engine developed by Zenvo with two compressors has been preserved. The flat-plane engine with a flat crankshaft delivers 1,193 hp even after the facelift. The Zenvo TSR-S accelerates from zero to 100 km / h in 2.8 seconds, reaching 200 km / h in 6.8 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited at 325 km / h.
The Zenvo TSR-S is slowed by carbon-ceramic breaks with 395 discs in the front and 380 discs in the rear. At the front, 245/35 tires rotate on 20-inch rims, at the rear 325/30 tires are mounted on 21-inch rims.
The price is 1.45 million euros.
It has always been clear that the Zenvo TSR-S is a high-tech sports car. But that doesn't mean that such a car cannot be further optimized. Zenvo maintains its small production volume of just five TSR-S units per year.
