During the strategic plan 'Dare Forward 2030,' Carlos Tavares, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Stellantis, showed photographs of the world's first 100 % battery-electric Jeep SUV, which will help the brand's worldwide ambitions to electrify its SUV range fully. This new fully-electric Jeep, which will be on sale early next year, will broaden the brand's appeal and represent the next stage in realizing the Jeep brand's aim of zero-emissions freedom. Precise details about Jeep's battery-electric vehicle (BEV) will be available in the following months.

At the presentation, it was unclear what the technical specifications were. However, the Jeep fully electric SUV will hit the market in the first half of 2023.

Stellantis will be the industry leader in climate change mitigation, achieving carbon neutrality by 2038 and a 50% decrease in carbon emissions by 2030. Stellantis's contribution to a sustainable future is to take a leading position in decarbonization and a significant step forward in the circular economy.

As part of that leadership, Stellantis aims for 100% battery electric vehicle (BEV) sales in Europe and 50% in the United States by the end of this decade. By 2030, we intend to have more than 75 BEVs and annual worldwide BEV sales of five million vehicles.

Stellantis knows that it is critical to maintain battery supplies when conducting an electric car offensive. That is why Stellantis has chosen to expand its capacity for battery manufacture. Additionally, it will enhance its commitment to the hydrogen fuel cell in parallel. A technology that will be implemented in commercial vehicles starting in 2024.

Stellantis plans to introduce its first hydrogen van in the United States in 2025, followed by colossal pickup trucks later that year. And, since we are on the subject of commercial vehicles, Stellantis will reaffirm its market leadership in this area with 26 new products and electrification of all categories in which it operates.
