WWCOTY (Women's World Car of the Year) named the Citroen C5 X the Best Large Car. Sandy Myhre started this all-female jury in 2009. WWCOTY is made up of 63 automotive journalists from 45 countries on five continents. Their tough job is to choose the best cars in six categories (large car, performance car, city car, large SUV, 4x4, and family SUV).
The vehicles that won awards were the best in their categories regarding safety, handling, comfort, technology, design, efficiency, environmental compatibility, and value for money. The Best Large Car category winner is the Citroen C5 X. It will now compete with the other five category winners in the finals to find the overall winner of the WWCOTY, which will be announced on March 8 is International Women's Day.
The new Citroen C5 X is the double-angle flagship. It has the elegance and dynamism of a sedan, the versatility and practicality of a station wagon, and the driving position of an SUV. Citroen Advanced Comfort seats and Citroen Advanced Comfort active suspension make all of this possible in a way that no other car can. Since the market launch one year ago, more than 45,000 cars have already been sent to customers worldwide.
With the Citroen C5 X, you can travel in complete peace. It has cutting-edge technologies that make life easier, like the large color Head-Up Display or the innovative MyCitroen Drive information system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, natural language recognition, and a 12-inch touchscreen.
