The MG car company has been part of the Chinese vehicle group SAIC since 2007. The British brand is now increasingly relying on partially and fully electric models, which are also offered in Europe. In addition, MG is now emphasizing the previous growth of its sales network in Europe (Germany in particular) and announcing further points of sale.
There are now 53 sales outlets in Germany, and the company is on a growth path with two new vehicle models in the electric segment. This refers to the MG EHS plug-in hybrid and the fully electric MG ZS EV, compact SUVs. The models are available from selected MG Motor sales agents, including in North Rhine-Westphalia, Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein and the Rhine-Main-Neckar region as well as around the metropolises of Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and Stuttgart.
"We are consistently pushing ahead with the rapid expansion of the sales network and product portfolio in Germany because we want to make electromobility accessible to everyone who wants to embark on a sustainable lifestyle," says Philipp Hempel, Sales Director for German-speaking countries at MG Motor. "By the end of 2021, our network should grow to a total of 100 locations. Just in time for the middle of the year, we have reached our intermediate goal with around 50 renowned sales agents and are celebrating the mountain festival. "
When buying or leasing an MG vehicle, each customer is looked after by their local MG engine agent. Advice and delivery occur on-site; the customer concludes the purchase or leasing contract directly with MG Motor. Those who prefer to configure their new car from home instead of the classic way can make the entire car purchase directly on MG's German website. After the purchase contract has been concluded online, delivery takes place via the MG-Motor partner network.
The MG car company is preparing to launch two more electric cars. Next, the MG Marvel R Electric luxurious lifestyle SUV and the MG5 Electric fully electric station wagon should be available in Europe by the beginning of next year. In addition, it is still open whether and when the study of a two-seater battery roadster, "Cyberster", confirmed for the series in May, will come to Europe.
